ABOUT DAVID HANNAH Photo Credit: Frangess Hannah I’ve had a passion for the visual arts that started when I was young. Throughout my high school art classes I tried my hardest to draw or paint realism as best I could. This gave me the basis for how to compose attention drawing art pieces as well as a thorough understanding of the colour palette, rule of thirds, and other essentials. My artwork through photography started during my engineering undergraduate program. A co-operative job brought me to the east coast of Canada where I photographically documented an iceberg research project. During my trip, my photographs extended to the beautiful landscape of the province of Newfoundland. I found that taking photographs is a much faster way of painting realism. And it looks a lot more like what you see. I purchased my first digital SLR camera in the summer of 2015 and really made the art of photography my own. Since then, I’ve grown in my knowledge of the art and have made tremendous improvement in my photographs (at least I think so). I enjoy exploring the outdoors and my primary photography focus is on nature and wildlife. I’m certain that my skill as a photographer will continue to grow and hopefully may take me to interesting places.
